Synergy Leadership

The members of Synergy’s leadership team have been part of the incident command structure for countless major incidents including U.S. Embassy evacuations, the 9/11 rescue effort, Hurricane Katrina, The Boston Marathon Bombings and the Watertown manhunt. This real-world experience is invaluable when combined with an equally deep and broad experience in hazard vulnerability analysis and mitigation planning. Synergy currently provides expert consulting services for one of the largest insurance companies in the world. 

Jason P. Brennan

Jason co-founded Synergy Solutions Corp. in 2001. He was part of the creative team that developed I.M.P.A.C.T., one of many Synergy’s all hazards programs to help clients prepare for critical incidents.

Synergy’s programs are currently being implemented by school systems throughout the region and hundreds at of other locations across the country. The programs are designed to develop a logistical plan for first responders and staff personnel to deal with critical incidents or violent encounters. Jason has also been part of the exercise management team that developed, conducted and evaluated many full-scale evacuation exercises. Jason and the Synergy team collectively have over a hundred years of emergency response experience in the fields of healthcare, fire service, law enforcement and emergency management.
Jason serves on or has been a part of many committees, including the National Democratic Convention Tactical Sub-Committee, the Boston Marathon Tactical Sub-Committee and the California Critical Incident Sub-Committee, as well as the Massachusetts Governor’s School Safety Task Force.

 

Jason holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Western New England College and is pursuing his Ph.D. in Emergency Management. Jason is a certified Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), and Physical Security Professional (PSP)


He served 10 years in the United States Army National Guard with the 101st Combat Engineer Battalion, serving as a squad leader; he also received an Army Commendation Award for saving the life of a fellow soldier.

 

Jason is currently a Police Sergeant and the Deputy Operation Section Chief for the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council’s Special Tactics and Response Team (Metro-STAR). Metro-STAR is a regional tactical team with 100+ members comprising a Search and Rescue Team, Special Weapons and Tactics Team, and Mobile Field Force/ Crowd Control Team. Metro-STAR serves 46 cities and towns in Southeastern Massachusetts. As the Deputy Operations Commander, Jason has become certified in numerous command and instructor level courses. He has been involved with several crowd control deployments and was part of the Democratic National Convention Tactical- Subcommittee which was tasked with developing the tactical planning for the DNC. During his tenure as the Deputy Operation Commander, Jason has planned for and supervised scores of critical incident responses including emergency management operations in Boston and Watertown during the Marathon Bombing and Watertown Terrorist Manhunt

Frederick J. Rojee

Fred Rojee serves as Synergy911’s Managing Partner and COO where he is responsible for the daily operation of the company, including development of the organization’s mission and strategy statements; prioritizing customer, employee, and organizational requirements; business development, and driving performance measures for the organization.

Prior to joining S911 and following a distinguished career in government service, Mr. Rojee worked as an Independent Consultant and recognized expert in the areas of security, compliance, and investigations. He is a former member of the Federal Senior Executive Service and has served in various executive positions within the Intelligence Community and Law Enforcement.

He has served as a technical expert on interagency and intra-agency committees and working groups to resolve critical problems in existing continuity of operations and emergency management systems and programs. In addition, he was responsible for operational oversight of Security and Emergency Services for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and also served as the Director of Security and Emergency Management at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He was employed for over 20 years with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency.

 

After leaving CIA and before joining HHS, Mr. Rojee served as the Inspector General in Broward, Florida for the nation’s largest accredited Sheriff’s Office. There he was the department’s second-ranking sworn officer with oversight of the agency’s Internal Affairs, Internal Audit, Inspections, and Accountability Programs. Before that, he was employed by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation (Connecticut’s largest employer) as the Tribal Inspector General and Chief Security Officer. After graduation from Saint Leo College, Mr. Rojee served as a member of a Special Operations Unit with the United States Army. He is a graduate of Executive Development Programs at Harvard University and the Wharton School of Business, a member of several professional organizations, and has testified before Congress as a subject matter expert.

During his federal service, Mr. Rojee was awarded the Intelligence Commendation Medal for valor and the U.S. Army Commendation Medal. He is also the recipient of numerous Exceptional Performance Awards and Meritorious Unit Citations. 

Christopher H. Baker

Chris Baker co-founded Synergy Solutions Corp. in 2001. He was part of the creative team that developed I.M.P.A.C.T. This is an all hazards program that helps prepare clients for critical incidents. The program is currently being implemented for school systems throughout the Northeast, as well as hundreds of other locations across the country. This all hazards management program is designed to develop a logistical and tactical plan for first responders and personnel dealing with an act of school or workplace violence. Chris has also developed, designed and facilitated numerous full scale training exercises and table top exercises ranging from terrorist bombings, hazmat spills, school evacuations and hospital active shooter incidents.

Chris is on or has been a part of a number of committees, including the National Democratic Convention Tactical Sub-Committee, the Boston Marathon Tactical Sub-Committee and the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety Critical Response Sub- Committee. He is a working member of the Massachusetts Governors’ School Safety Task Force.

                                                                

Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Western New England College and a BA from Curry College. He is currently a Narcotics Investigator with a local Police Department with 25 years of experience in Law Enforcement. He has been a Police Academy Senior Drill Instructor and teaches a variety of courses ranging from Use of Force, Rapid Deployment, Urban Patrol Rifle, Critical Incident Management & Response, and Antiterrorism for the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Council (MPTC). Chris has designed, planned, and safely conducted innovative, high-risk, practical application and live-fire training for thousands of police officers.

He is the SWAT Commander for the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council’s Special Tactics and Response Team (Metro-STAR); a regional tactical team with 100+ members comprised of a Search and Rescue, Special Weapons and Tactics, Mobile Field Force/ Crowd Control, K-9 Division, and Hostage Negotiators Teams.
